Domestic Issues - Education We support the free right of parents to give any religious education to their children, or none, but insist on education of principles throughout history, and tools of rational logic. So, we support voucher programs and parental choice, as long as the program relates reliable, quantified observations on the world and prominent theories on those observations, and teaches all children math and science, history and music, and reading and writing English. (We see no reason to deny multi-lingual course offerings in the other subjects, though.) And, we believe every parent should have the choice of sending their child to an adequate non-religious public school. But most importantly, we support the right of every child to obtain a fair and balanced education in a safe school, to receive a nutritious meal, and to learn to read. Subscribe to Posts [Atom]
