We support the right of all American citizens to receive quality basic preventative care and medical treatment. We posit that the amount of money that could be saved by basic preventative care for everyone outweighs the immediate expense of treating advanced illnesses of the poor.

no socialism for insurance corps - if gov't cheaper, gov't competes

If a public option for healthcare insurance would lower costs for consumers and drive private insurance companies out of business, then that is competition, that is free enterprise, that is what we ought to do.

If we continue to support a broken system in which insurance companies have carved out a system of socialism for themselves and only themselves, by writing laws to make the industry anti-competitive, we are screwing ourselves over.

The entrenched system of socialism for the wealthy must end in America if we're going to make it through the next 20 years without bankrupting the country.
